Some seed companies are built in boardrooms. Devil’s Harvest was built in grow rooms.
It started in County Kerry, Ireland, in the 1990s — before cannabis branding existed, before genetics became sought after, and long before anyone was handing out trophies for terpenes. The founder was already deep in it. Small rooms, late nights, and a relentless drive to grow something better than what was out there. Cleaner. More flavourful. More fire. That obsession has never faded.
Amsterdam Heritage
In 2007, our story moved to Amsterdam — ground zero for cannabis culture at the time.
It was here the founder gained a complete, 360-degree education in cannabis. Embedded in a city alive with legendary coffeeshops — Bushdoctor, Grey Area, Green Place, Bulldog, Barney’s, and the Greenhouse — whilst working closely alongside Sensi Seed Bank, the Cannabis College, and the Hash & Marijuana Museum. The history, the science, the culture, and the craft — all at once.
It was here that Devil’s Harvest Seeds was officially born.
The early team was small but serious. While the world was still catching up, Devil’s Harvest was already producing exceptional ice-o-lator bubble hash. At the same time we started pioneering solventless rosin and high-quality cannabis oils — years before the extract game went mainstream. Our focus was never trend-chasing. It was about understanding the plant well enough to push it somewhere new.
The Breeding Process — Where It All Begins
The real story of Devil’s Harvest isn’t the awards. It’s what happens before them.
Breeding here isn’t a shortcut. It’s a long game — played with patience, precision, and a genuine curiosity about what a plant can become. Flavour leads everything. Potency matters, but flavour is the fingerprint — it’s what separates a forgettable strain from a legendary one. The process involves deep phenotype hunting, careful selection across multiple generations, and the kind of slow stabilisation work that most breeders skip because it takes too long.

Digging through old school seeds, you never know what’s buried in there. Most runs give you nothing new, but sometimes, you chance upon something special.
As a result of one of these experiments, we came across this unique flower — a fragile, struggling plant that most would have written off. Instead, we nursed it back over months of careful work, stabilised, and gradually revealed something extraordinary: a flavour profile that truly has no comparison.

Shoreline has won multiple awards on the extract circuit and has become one of the most sought after strains out there — proof that the most remarkable genetics sometimes arrive looking like they’ve already given up.
The Results Speak
Our first-place finishes at the High Times Cannabis Cup were a huge milestone, all of a sudden we were No. 1 in town.
What followed was a run of consistent wins at Spannabis, Elite Cup Amsterdam, Oregon Concentrate Challenge, Oil Hunters Cup, Dabadoo, Unity Cup, and beyond. We created strains like RLX OG, OG Reek’n, Golden Haze, Casey Jones, Kuchi, and Strawberry Sour Diesel that are now highly revered names among growers, extractors, and connoisseurs worldwide.
Our long list of celebrity endorsements from the likes of Paul McCartney, Redman, Wu-Tang legends Ghostface Killah and Method Man, Snoop Dogg, and B-Real of Cypress Hill have been a huge source of pride and inspiration for us.
Collaborations
Reputation in this industry is built slowly and lost quickly. That’s why Devil’s Harvest have been selective about who we work with.
Over the years, collaborations with Barney’s Farm, DNA Genetics, Doja, Backpackboyz, NorCal, and FJAAK have produced some of the most talked-about genetics in the modern era. We approach each collaboration the same way every new strain is — with curiosity, high standards, and a refusal to release anything that doesn’t meet the bar set back in Ireland, almost thirty years ago.
Barcelona — The Next Chapter
We are excited to announce the opening of the Devil’s Harvest Social Club in Barcelona. A space where our genetics, culture, and community exist in the same room. Where the story that started in an Irish grow room in the 90s continues to unfold, strain by strain, in one of Europe’s most vibrant cannabis cities.
